What this website stores today

One cookie, named lang. It is written only if you use the language switcher, and it records the language you picked so the site does not override your choice on your next visit. It is set on the path /, lasts one year, and is sent with the SameSite=Lax restriction. It holds nothing but the two-letter language code.

That cookie needs no consent. It is strictly necessary for a preference you explicitly asked for. If you never touch the language switcher, it is never written.

One entry in your browser's local storage, if you answer the cookie banner. It records your choice, the version of the notice you answered under, and the date. It stays in your browser, is never sent to a server, and is not a cookie, so it never travels with a request.

Nothing else is loaded or read on this website unless and until you accept. No third-party script runs before that point.

What the governing documents provide for

The privacy policy, under Information from Local Storage and other tracking technologies, provides that 1212 CAPITAL and its third-party service providers may access and collect information from local storage, mobile device ID, cookies, web beacons and similar technologies, and that this may include browser type, referring and exit pages, operating system, device or browser language, and other device information.

It further provides, under Third-Party Cookies, that services from Google and other third parties using tracking technology may be used, and it sets out how to opt out of them.

Those provisions cover the Framework and the Services as well as this website. They describe what may be used. On this website, none of it runs unless you accept it here, and you can withdraw that acceptance at any time.

Changing or withdrawing your choice

The Cookies link in the footer of every page reopens the banner and clears the stored answer. Withdrawing is the same single click as giving it, on purpose.

We ask again six months after you answer, whichever way you answered, and sooner if what we are asking about changes.

You can also use your browser's own controls to see, block and delete cookies and local storage for this site, which works whatever we do. Clearing site data removes both the lang cookie and the consent record, so the banner will ask again.
